Our Story
Educating Minds, Inspiring Hearts
Founded with a vision to redefine professional education in Kerala, the Rural Educational Development Trust took the initiative to establish a new educational institution focused on uplifting rural communities. Driven by a commitment to accessibility and innovation, the Trust envisioned a college that would offer new-generation degree programs tailored to the evolving demands of modern industries. This vision gave rise to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam College of Professional Studies, dedicated to providing quality education and creating meaningful opportunities for students in rural areas..
2022
We received official approval from the Government of Kerala to establish the college, a milestone that marked the beginning of our journey. We express our sincere gratitude to the Government of Kerala for granting us this opportunity to serve and uplift the educational aspirations of rural communities.
2023
we proudly welcomed our first batch of students, marking the beginning of our academic journey. As part of our commitment to experiential learning, students from the Aviation and Airport Management program are undergoing hands-on training at Kannur International Airport, gaining valuable industry exposure and practical skills that set them apart in the competitive job market.
